Family Video is always looking for people needing to expand their horizons in an economy that challenges all of us. We are currently searching for the following:

  • For our Equine Services Unit:
    • Contract Sales and Pre Production Person for our mobile Office
      • Duties include:
        • Provide customer service and sales support at shows. This includes helping customers fill our order forms, accepting payment for products, and displaying recorded video on our monitors.
        • Provide assistance in editing and producing DVDs on site at shows
        • Assist the Office Manager in setting up and tearing down the mobile office.
      • Hours of Service:
        • Typical seasonal shows:
          • Saturday and Sunday only.....7 AM  to 8 PM
        • Special Event Shows
          • Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday...Thursday and Friday (8 AM to 7 PM); Saturday and Sunday normal hours of 7 AM to 8 PM)
      • Compensation
        • This is an hourly contract job. Wages are competitive and are discussed with the applicant at the time of the interview.
        • As a contractor, you will be responsible for reporting fees paid to you for tax purposes. 
      • Benefits
        • We provide the contractor with Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
        • When applicable, we provide you with air or equivalent transport to our customer’s facility; including hotel accommodations
        • If you are a college or technical school student and you need work experience credits, we can provide you with an “Objective and Scope Experience” document that may be used for extra academic requirements at no cost to you.
        • This position is subject to annual reviews at which time the hourly rate can be upgraded.
        • This position may also lead to managing responsibilities
      • Requirements
        • MUST be knowledgeable with Windows XP and have working knowledge of VISTA operating systems.
        • If you have experience in creating video and recording them to DVD, this is a PLUS. 
        • If you have experience working with Corel’s Video Pro X12......this is definitely a plus. We use this product in our mobile units.
        • Must have basic math and grammar skills.
        • Must be a reliable and honest person
      • Training
        • We provide on the job training at no cost to you.  When applicable, we will provide you with training videos to help you become acquainted with our editing software and operation.
      • Experience, Education etc.
        • A minimum of a complete high school education is required
        • Additional college and technical school training is a plus.
        • Must be comfortable dealing with very competitive customers who demand quick and accurate service
        • Must be well-organized in work environment
        • Must have command of the English language
